Heather has been in Crested Butte since 1993 when she left the eastern hills for the bigger mountains and better skiing in Colorado. She graduated from the University of Vermont where she was a member of the NCAA Alpine Ski Team. Her love of skiing drove her to try telemark skiing, and she was named to the National Team in 1994, the World Cup Team in 1995, and was a bronze medalist in the 1995 Telemark World Championships in Lillehammer, Norway. She has been sharing her love of skiing and the outdoors through her business, Ultimate Groove, women's telemark adventures. Heather travels nationwide conducting clinics, testing skis for K2 and working on the Marmot design board. Heather also works closely with her husband, a custom home builder specializing in timber frame construction here in Crested Butte. Heather's favorite and most important role is being a mom to their son, Rowan, and daughter, Addison. Heather's love of Crested Butte and knowledge of the area made real estate an easy choice.
